Mimi Rogers born as Miriam Spickler on January 27th, 1956 in Coral Gables, Florida, USA is a marvelous American film and television actress and a great poker player.

Mimi Rogers was born to civil engineer Philip J Spickler and his wife. Her father is of Jewish background while her mother is an Episcopalian. Mimi Rogers has been in and out of several schools in America as her family constantly traveled on account of her father's profession. So becoming weary of being a new girl at every school, Mimi Rogers decided to work hard and pushed herself to graduate at 14 from an experimental sort of a private school that allows people to study at their own pace. Mimi Rogers was married to a Scientologist James 'Jim' Rogers on August 21st, 1976. However their marriage was short-lived and ended in divorce in 1980. Mimi Rogers later married Hollywood's iconic actor Tom Cruise on May 9th, 1987. Around this time, Mimi Rogers gave a magnificent performance in "Someone to Watch Over Me" {1987}. But sadly her performance was completely overshadowed by her marriage to Tom Cruise. Her subsequent remarkable performances in other films too got swept away by the publicity blitzkrieg she received on account of her marriage to Tom Cruise. Though Mimi Rogers pushed her acting career under the carpet to make her marital life with Tom Cruise a happy one, she failed as the marriage ended in divorce on February 4th, 1990. But to this day they still maintain a cordial relationship as the marriage ended on good terms. They still see each other. Incidentally it was Mimi Rogers who introduced Tom Cruise to the Church of Scientology of which he is now a strong advocate of.

Soon after divorcing Tom Cruise in 1990, Mimi Rogers has begun a live-in relationship with producer-director Chris Ciaffa in 1990. The couple eventually married on March 20th, 2003. They together have a daughter named Lucy Julia Rogers-Ciaffa born November 1995 and son Charlie Rogers-Ciaffa born July 2001.
